I probably shouldn't comment on this game until the details are posted. With that said, how does a team score that many points without intending to embarrass the opponent??

With all due respect to Fookes (she is a great coach), Nky. has won lots of Girl's soccer and volleyball State titles.

It would be naive to think that the Nky. refs don't have more patience for her antics. All great coaches influence referees.

Fookes always seems to get away with more than most coaches. Especially in Nky.

Holy Cross played hard the entire game. The lead was much larger until Notre Dame sat their starters most of the 4th quarter.

Good for Moss and Boone County. But, as was said in another post, these 2 teams will probably meet again.

Agree with Papa. Scott came out fast and Notre Dame came out flat. When was the last time Scott's floor was resurfaced?? Someone is going to get injured!

Would have been a great team. State Championship would be highly unlikely (see Marion County).

Agree with paNDA. No 9th region team will look past Highlands. It looks like this game was a typical "On any given night" 9th region Girl's game. I also believe that Highlands will be tough for future years. They have some very good freshmen.

Sophomores Taulbee and Ray (according to the Enquirer). Conner has a great future in front of them!

Boone County's guards are more experienced than Ryle's. IMO, their guard play will be the difference in this game.

I am not sure what Wainscott averages (15-20 points a game?), but Simon Kenton will have to find those points somewhere else and somehow slow down Moss and the Boone County guards. No Northern Kentucky team has been able to accomplish this so far this season.
