Wake up! If St X wants to beat Trinity in December they have to be able to spread the field. Loehnert's passing ability put them inside the 10 twice and then the "running mentallity" took them out of the end zone. The play calling was abominal. Brohm at tailback over Hall on the last drive? Hall at tailback for a play that he has never run with loehnert at QB, inside the 10 in the second quarter?(great coaching). In the 2nd quarter, Brohm's inability to see a wide open #21 because of his run first mentality cost the Tigers a TD and gave the Rocks the ball on a fumble instead of a TD pass. With Cincy St X and Cincy Moeller on the schedule next year, St X better wake up and learn to spread the ball to their athletes like Hall and Hayden thru the air in order to be competitive.

Beach does not play J/V anymore

Brohm did not start but had at least four running plays and 5 passing plays compared to none for Loehnert. I think you can read between the lines on who X is gearing for QB.

Brohm had 8 passing plays and Loehnert had none. They did not need to pass with the emergence of Hall at tailback.

How did St X do at Male 7 on 7

Beatty is a pro at placing the right QB behind the offense. In 2008 he might have a challenge.

That Beach kid is a beast (well more like a monster). He will be a a big force to deal with when Duece gets tired of running.

What about the teams they play that only have 30 or 40 players? I agree that the Rocks success is unmatched but what does bringing sophmores down to play teach the 2nd teamers who have been busting their ___ since late July? How would you like to be one of the sophmores who was brought down?

Elder 14 -- Trinity 7 Trinity played 6 sophmores on defense and 1 on offense.

Maybe the Sophmores that the Rocks are bringing down to play tomorrow with the Freshman will get them to within 2 games of 500 ball.
