And what happens when one of these starters gets hurt. Its one thing if its a close game but when you are already up 30 its a shame.. cause it could have been prevented.

Wasn't at this game but I heard MC kept their starters in and pressed throughout the 3rd quarter. Looking at this margin its hard to believe this didn't happen.

Not taking anything away from Montgomery County because they were obviously the better team tonight, but does anyone else think that the officiating was a little lopsided in the first half? It seems these refs wanted to make sure MC won this game.

Yes all districts should seed, however I don't see a problem with how the region tournament is conducted where you have the winner playing the runnerup and keeping each district team in opposite brackets.

Geez dude what do you have against the Ladyhounds? They were in the game until late in the third quarter. you make it sound as if Mason blew this game away from the tip and that was just not the case.

Highlands fans need to go ahead and get over this. The refs were not the reason your team only scored 38 points. This is your lowest point total all season. Maybe you need to take into consideration that you just had an off night on the offensive end and move on. It happens to the best of us.

No. I don't think Paris has beaten MC in 3 years...definitely won't happen in the post-season.However I'd like to see Paris prove me wrong.

I'd like to see Paris and Bourbon in the finals but I know MC won't let that happen. They are just too good. Indians win the district and the region(again)

The tourney tips off Monday night with Montgomery County and Bourbon County. Bourbon pulled off a huge upset a few weeks ago knocking off the Indians at home giving them their only region loss. Can the Colonels do it again or is MC too much to handle come post-season play?? Tuesday night Paris plays Clark County. Both teams split in the regular season by the same margin.. (I think) Paris has lost their last 2 games while Clark has won their last 2. They both play Friday night leading into the tournament. Will Paris bounce back, or can Clark continue the run they are currently on? It's a shame that two of these teams won't make the region tournament when clearly all 4 are in the top 5 of the 10th!:fight:

What about fans yelling "5 seconds" when the defensive player is not even close enough to the offensive player to even warrant a count from the official... I mean literally the defense was in a 2-3 zone and the point guard was holding the ball out front waiting for a last second shot, at least 6-7 feet away from the defender and this guy yells "Come on ref, that's 5 seconds"

Was MC just hitting all shots? Was LCA not playing defense. Could LCA not hit any 3's like they've relied on so heavily? Margin of victory is way surprising!!!

Mason did play a great second half, and I will credit their defense for forced turnovers, but as for Paris' shooting percentage, they were getting alot of good looks from both the outside and driving inside. They just couldnt get the shots to fall which has been a problem for this team all season long. Paris cut the lead to 10 early in the fourth and had the ball but after another turnover it looked as if the Ladyhounds gave up. They slacked off on defense and just kept fouling sending Mason to the freethrow line. Congrats to Mason though on a nice win on the road. Hopefully Paris can bounce back from this and get a win Friday before heading into district play.
