  1. Next year if they are in that class 3A (district , region ??) they will not be able to compete with Belfry. I think the 5a district is where I would want to be.
  2. They should be put where their numbers put them. It's not hard take a count at Christmas and place them. I would probally want in the 5a district, that's just me.
  3. Clay scores 32........Corbin just 34....????? I have not seen them play so their offense must be comparable to Clay??..... I thought it would be much much better.
  4. Corbin could score 50 on this defense. I don't think this will be an instant classic, this may be one that Middlesboro wants to forget asap. You take the QB out of the mix for Middlesboro, they struggle on offense. Redhounds by a bunch ......20+
  5. Harlan Co. will not even compete with Belfry.
  6. Coach Arthur Carter , Hands down.:ylsuper:
  7. When will the folks in Middlesboro realize that there defense is the problem. Over the last 9 years it has been one of the worst in the region. Just do the math...... Rank in the region........ Year Pts allowed Rank in region 1999 396 14 of 15 2000 189 2 of 12 2001 218 4 of 16 2002 254 8 of 14 2003 192 4 of 13 2004 338 8 of 13 2005 321 9 of 12 2006 259 6 of 12 99-06 2168 points 272 adverage per/year 21.3 per/game Compared to ........ Belfry......1624 pts 203 per/year 15 pts/game Breathitt..1814 pts 227 per/year 18 pts/game Corbin......2005 pts 251 per/year 18.9 pts/game Your defense philosophy man to man / all out gap, 9 in the box, is very unsound and gives up way to many big plays and points. Make no mistake about it, your offense has bailed them out more than a few times. If not for such a strong offensive this team may be below .500 So when everyone talks about your defense please don't think that it is sound or even very good. It was just different, and it is not even that now. Coaches and programs have figured it out. My math may be alittle off and stats came from KHSAA web page. With the loss of N. P. off cordinator a couple years ago and quality assistant this year, the offense has not been putting up as many pts. Things don't look good in the future.
  8. Just in my opion the Head Coach needs some new assistants. He has no help on the field. Oline has gone backwards. He needs help. HE is doing all he can.
  9. Some Corbin and Middlesboro fans are very defensive when they hear someone from Bell mention running from another team. It is obvious that the coaches from both of those programs threw in the white towel when scheduling Bell, their fans are both angered and embarrased over it.
  10. 1A Pikeville slim chance. Sell the rest.
  11. "Ohio has a Power Ranking system, just like used in college football, which assigns a score for win/loss record and strength of schedule" If there is one thing wrong with football, its the current college football points system. So please lets not look there for the answer.
