Not only closed but one report indicated 6 inches of snow in Mt Sterling

I believe to allow the Juniors as much time as possible to get home early because the ACT's are on Tuesday.

Exactly correct.

If you do split sessions and start at 8:15, Campbell County would not get home till after midnight. All juniors in state were scheduled to take ACT Tuesday per state testing guidelines. Meaning they have to get up early next morning to get to their chosen testing location.

The results are a MAJOR part of how high schools are graded.

You dont want your juniors operating on 3-4 hours of sleep while taking such an important test.

IF postponed, Wednesday evening should be out as makeup as Montgomery Co Lady Indians won their 7th Region Champiomship in 8 years and play their first round state tournament game on Wednesday night.

Yes, 6 inches in Mt.Sterling and the road crews have already been clearing the subdivision roads. If Mason and Campbell can get here I would think they will still be on.

Just went out and measured ours here in Winchester....3 1/2 inches.

Everyone knows that these games will be played. One thought that comes to my mind is about the ACT testing. Has this always been in March? So much for the closed door meetings between the admins at the draw....where no games would be played on a Monday night when they still will be tonight. The only thing that meeting accomplished was to take a Saturday night finals away from the girls tournament.

I was just told a few minutes ago that they have no choice and the games have to be played tonight.

Final decision will be made after 12:00. Re-freezing is a concern, but everyone is hoping to play this afternoon/evening. I will let you all know as soon as I hear something.

I don't believe the administrators had any control over the weather Friday night.

Clark is telling people that the decision has already been made and it is a go. ??????

We (Campbell Co) just got an email stating the game is still on.

No they do not have control over the weather, but with the boys state tournament a week after the girls they did have control on deciding whether the girls could keep their Saturday night championship game that for many years they had tried to get. Now they get it and were denied of this by a closed door vote. There was plenty of time to play the boys tournament.

Is there a webcast for the games?

Just got the word that the games are on as scheduled for 5 and 6:30.
