How did THAT team (Lloyd) beat Dixie and Highlands???? :confused:

 

THAT Lloyd team had a chance to win that game today!

Can a Boone County supporter on here tell me............Where was the student section today?:idunno: The Lloyd kids had NO ONE to banter back and forth with.:irked:

I think that they were kinda off to the side .

Dixie was a surprise but highlands? I was surprised Highlands made the regionals.

How did your team's season turn out?

A Highlands Hater is one thing, but an ill-informed Highlands hater is another. Based on the draw Highlands had to beat Dayton and Bellevue. Unless you didn't know that, your bias would lead one to suspect you may be lacking the necessary capacity to post on here.

 

 

 

Highlands beat Dayton by what 4? C'mon man. Flynn's best days as a coach are long behind him, but hey Highland's program is in the same shape. Hope he sticks around awhile.

That's right SK got worked by Class A Gallatin Co after you predicted an SK 8 Pt win. You were a genius until 3 minutes left when They blew a 13 Pt lead.

Wow, this went down hill fast. Congrats to BC and great season for Lloyd. You'd have never made me believe in December they would be in the semis of the region.

Pitts was the straw that stirred the drink this afternoon. He was everywhere on the court. He and Hightchew should be an interesting match up tomorrow.

Lloyd has come light years since hosting the Lloyd Invitational Tournament back at Christmas time.

 

I actually felt bad for them back then, struggling through their own tournament with a 3-8 record before beating Ludlow and then Conner. That might have been a turning point for them. Following the LIT they posted a 13-8 record, and finished out the season since February 4th with a 7-2 mark.

 

In the year of the overachiever, Lloyd was a big player!!!!

I said They were a team I wouldn't want to face in the tournament. My team ended up playing them and even though it probably was the best scenario for us, we were facing a very hot team. Undersized but well coached and under control all the time. Bray was fun to watch, even though I know I have been a Little bit critical of his theatrics. His dunk the other night was worth the price of admission.

 

Great turnaround to their season and its a credit to their staff and kids.

Boone Co. 50, Lloyd Memorial 41 (9th): The game was tied 26-26 before the Rebels went on a 12-2 run in the semifinals at Northern Kentucky University. Boone County hit 11 of 14 free-throw attempts in the fourth quarter.
