Andrew Breitbart has died

I heard tonight was when the rumored video was to be aired on Fox News.

I assume this is it. Not sure what the scandal is.

The Vetting: Obama Embraces Racialist Harvard Prof

The way I understand it, it's not really about Obama so much but more about how the mainstream media didn't vet Obama. I don't have time now, but maybe latter I can post more about it.

Apparently that was readily available in a PBS documentary that aired in 2008. Obama definitely had him assassinated for finding it.
True, but it was vastly ignored by the mainstream media in their opinion. I admit, I heard little to nothing about it. Supposedly there are more tapes. We'll see.

And for the record, I certainly don't think he was assassinated.

So I watched some of the Hannity video last night. The Harvard prof who was fighting for more minorities as dept heads at Harvard Law is considered a "radical" because of his disgust in the 70s or 80s with the state of race in the U.S. Then-student Barack Obama supported him in his belief that there needed to be more minorities at Harvard Law ergo he, too, is a radical.

Hannity claimed the video was hidden during the campaign. Not sure why they would hide it (and yes I did hear Oglethorpe say it was hidden by him).

Big picture...not much of a story here and certainly not earth-shattering as Mr. Breitbart led the CPAC folks to believe.

Here's a link to Soledad O’Brien and her CNN panel with Breitbart.com editor-in-chief Joel Pollak. You can judge for yourself, but what it sounds like is that Breitbart's final project isn’t so much to make Obama’s early radical ties clear; it’s to point out how the media tried to keep them quiet.

I had to have a little fun with the conspiracy theorists.

They would not suppress video or information they had would they?

Well, at least the LA Times admits they do....

McCain campaign accuses L.A. Times of 'suppressing' Obama video - latimes.com

"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton. "The Times keeps its promises to sources."

So a confidential source gives a tape to an organization whose function is to publish accurate and actual information - on the condition that they don't release it?!?! OK, why did the source give this to the LA Times then?
