Did a "big head" of Rick's mistress make an appearance in the student section?

There was one I saw that was confiscated right away...

Senior starters combined to go 0-15... ballgame.

Three point baskets...

Cincinnati: 11-27

Louisville: 1-14

Those aren't a recipe for victory. This was two solid defensive teams going at it and as has been the story all season, Louisville's offense couldn't take care of business. Cincinnati made the shots... Louisville didn't. Tough one to take last night.

Who all does UC still have left?

@USF, Marq, @Vandy...

Disagree. They're in.

Hope you're right, my good friend.

Have we seen any new RPI numbers after last night's game?

Up to 5 Top 50 wins and 3 Top 25 wins. That's the relevant RPI numbers... :D

That game was torture to watch.

Also, I don't think I've ever seen a game on TV with so many camera shots of the stands.

You know it's a factor along with those you list.

Any update yet? Last I saw was about 80.

You keep "insisting" on that but it's a factor whether officially stated or not. It's a tool. Wasn't there just a story on that where the NCAA opened up the process to the press and they talked about how it's used? It caused a big ruckus for those stating the RPI is outdated.

It is used as a sorting tool, not a ranking system. Your team RPI isn't on the page used to sort through the process...

All I can go by is what I read. From the NCAA website:

How much does a committee depend on the RPI compared with other available information?

The RPI is just one of many factors used by the committee. Each committee member must weigh each factor available and make his or her own decision regarding its importance. Clearly, the RPI will be more helpful to a committee member when evaluating a team out of his or her own region, especially if they never have seen them play.

In my mind that says , and logic says, that if two teams are close in the mind of someone on the committee they may use the RPI as a factor in determining either in vs out or 4 vs 5 .

Fun facts:

Last night was the first time a Pitino-coached Louisville team made only one three-point field goal in a game.

Prior to last night, the last time a Louisville team made only one three was when DeJuan Wheat hit the lone long-range bucket in a Metro Conference game against South Florida in February of 1994. Louisville won that game, 65-60.

My buddy put this on Twitter and I thought it was funny:

I disagree with confiscating it. Pitino did it so its fair game. It is a basketball game with a home court advantage...
