Thanks, I played and coached previously but a job promotion has brought me here. Seems like a great area and look forward to raising my family here.

Same here. We have learned that NKY is the best kept secret around. :sssh:

Hope you find the same.

Word is that there is some guy in heaven wearing people out talking about Ryle and , specifically, Jenna C.

You aren't kidding!! And even got his first piece of a net compliments of Jenna:) Awesome game - awesome atmosphere. Can't wait for next week. As always PaNDA - great to see you and fabulous pictures!!

Without a doubt PaNDA! Thanks for the awesome pictures!! Jenna's mission is not complete until she get a part of 2 more nets!

Heard Jenna stayed after the Conner game and congratulated each of Conner's seniors as they left the locker room. She is a class act on and off the court. Best of luck to a great young lady, she represents her school and team very well.

Ive got 236 loading on a picasa site right now. I will post those on your page so you can share them tomorrow. The final sequence is unreal. Bodies flying everywhere as time runs out. And then Jenna does the celebration dance. Might just be a snip it of video as well.

This outcome really doesnt surprise me much, Boone has a nice team but certainly not invincible and obviously beatable. Congrats to Ryle on a nice win for the program. This Region tourney will be interesting and fun to watch as there are about 4 or 5 different teams that could beat anyone on any given night and in the end the team with a little bit of luck, a team with some bad luck, a boyfriend or significant other issue, some persoanl issues and WHAM, who would of thunk it, a little ole single A school or perhaps some All Girls school or another quality program and maybe even the big schools that are suppose to win can win this thing on any given night. This is why they play the games. Good luck to all teams.

I think she touched the ball but a lot of it was out on the floor, part of the time playing the point with JJ on the bench with 2 fouls. And Syd tends to become a pass first-shoot, second player when she plays the point. That plus her jumper just wasn't on tonight and when that happens she isn't nearly as aggressive in looking to shoot.

I wish Boone had decided to put her inside earlier than the 4th quarter. With her ability around the hoop I'd do that quickly if her outside shot wasn't going in and I needed points.

She was very frustrated with how things went and headed off to the gym right after the game............to work on her shot. Probably a smart, effective way to work off the frustration!

I agree that Moss would have been more effective as a scorer down low the whole game. Boone's inside game is where I think they have an advantage, and that's where they won the game in the first matchup. However, after Ryle switched to the half court press, Moss was needed out top with Jones. I thought the press bothered Boone too much. Boone settled for too many outside shots, and except for a couple of threes they were not hitting and missed way too many open outside shots. Ryle hit some key threes. Boone probably had twice as many fouls as Ryle. The foul call at the end of the game with Boone down one and going for the winning shot enabled Ryle to add a couple of security free throws for the final margin. Johnson for Ryle had a great game. She is a physically strong player.
