When your coach plays defense to stop the point guard using two people it leaves someone open. Mr Pauly defender was playing off him a bit to help out also. Oh well.

 

My point is Sawyer averages 7.1 points and 4.6 rebs a game and by my stats had 20 and 13 and 4 steals, if that isn't having a career game, I don't know what is. I was complimenting the young man, even TOG knows that.

I'm completely calm, a high school basketball game isn't enough to put me on the brink.:lol: I also don't have a clue where he went to grade school but I'd assume somewhere in Cincy. The reason people are responding toyou like this is because you came off like you didn't care about watching him develop, just the fact that he was fom outside of Holy Cross' district.

Good season for Holy Cross, but as usual, Goetz rarely does well in rematches with any local team.

 

As someone posted on here early in the season, noted that Holy Cross had more Varsity basketball players than any one. They shortened the bench last night, Chames and Zach Pouncy were not evenon the roster.

Didn't read through all the posts but wow what a game.

 

Both teams fought til the end and it really is a shame someone had to lose. Both sets of players should be commended for their efforts last night.

 

Ruthsatz handled the HC pressure very well. He will need to have a repeat performance against the Dogs.

 

Pauly was huge for the Colonels down the stretch. I was really impressed with the Colonels.

 

On the other side, if you're a HC fan you have to feel like one got away. A lot of missed free throws when it mattered and I still don't understand why they didn't give it to Campbell down low more down the stretch.

 

Thompson and Burger both with big shots all night. Good luck to all the HC seniors. This was a memorable season for them even though it came up short of their goals of getting to the region tourney and trying to get down state.

 

Colonels and Bulldogs once again in the district championship.

Btw, the Campbell kid is a class act, regardless of where he came from.

 

He was having fun with the Crazies last night when they were chanting "Daisy Dukes."

If someone didn't know about the shaved head tradition, they would think the CCH team was a bunch of American History X types. It cracks me up a little.

Because some people on this site have nothing better to do than to get on here and criticize coaches and referees when they couldn't do much better themselves. They act like Coach Goetz has been doing this for 20 years. He just finished his seventh year, SEVENTH, and like most young coaches they do get better at their craft because they work at it. I have been around some good coaches that work hard every day to make their team better and genuinely care for their players and he is one of those guys, make no mistake about it.
