Good win for Cov Cath. Free throws and poor coaching lost this for Holy Cross.

Completely agree and i think another Colonel is wide open for a three.And HC just kept jacking them up.Congrads to CC and their coaching staff they completely dominated the coaching aspect of the game poor effort on Coach Geotz behave.

First time I have seen Holy Cross. Was not that impressed with Cambell. What year is he? Seems a little soft to me. Did he have his typical game?

Congrats to Covington Catholic! Not a good day for baseball tomorrow anyway.

 

BTW CovCath has only Ben Heppler and Dan Shumate, who both might get some innings in pitching this year from the Basketball team and it always nice in the Schott Building. So like the CovCath Basketball team, the Baseball teams too will be practicing after school on Thursday!

 

Gentlemen honestly, its not a nice way to treat a Coach who led HC to such a great season and the All A Championship!

Looks like Burger had to carry the Cross once again. He had an outstanding Sr yr but the quick out in Districts will likely reduce his chances of player of the year. What a great career though and he owns the PLay of the Year with the buzzer beater to win the State All A title.

SeSe - Maybe you need to get out to see more games then if you weren't impressed with Campbell. While not his best game by any means, the guy totals 14 pts, 16 rebounds and 8 blocks. I'd say that is better than an average game when he has 2 surrounding him whenever he touches the ball down low. I want to give credit to both teams tonight as the kids put everything on the line in what was a great High School basketball game. Congrats to Cov Cath as they move on.

 

Sad to see Jake Burger play his last game. What a tremendous senior season, going out 28-3 and winning an All A State Title is a lot to be proud of.

Very surprised to see CovCath win, thought all year HC was the better team. Congrats to HC on a fantastic season.

While the loss stings I hope Travis Thompson realizes what a clutch 3 he hit for HC. Awesome shot!

I see plenty of games. He is a foot taller than everyone else. Doesnt do much for me. Cleves did a good job on him late.. It is been mentioned a few times here already and many agree.

Cov Cath coaching staff completely out coached Holy Cross staff. Holy Cross wont get a chance for a few years to beat CCH. Colonels just have their number. I heard CovCath has beaten HC 11 out of the last 13 games!!!!! Is this true?

Free throws, free thows, free throws! Coaches can't shoot them for you! Great season for HC at 28-3. Even though I wanted HC to win this game, I picked CCH based on the last couple of games, after all of the criticizing that Fredrick has had on here I'm glad he have a very good night, the kid can shoot.
