Scott really missed senior Blake Daughtery in this game. He does a lot of things on the defensive side of the ball and the little things that don't show up in box scores. Senior leadership might have made a difference in this game that last couple of minutes. Scott's young guards played well until the last three minutes when they had some bad turnovers and some took some bad shots

This district is always entertaining with tough basketball. The district tournament is always right down to the wire and should be again this year.

Was that a Tony Yates 4 corner stall in the last few minutes of the game by coach Carr? Scott was up around 10 and pulled up the ball forcing Brossart to attack the ball,which they did. I think the only shots that were taken by Scott were 2 very poor selections from outside. Hats off to Brossart for not quitting after being down the whole game. Brossart went deep into the bench last night and while it looked as if everyone seemed to struggle at one time or another last night, each kid also rallied to make a key stop, shot, steal, or pass for the Mustangs. Good luck in the coin flip!
