The TARC website has a ride estimator. My ride from the house to PRP in the morning would be 1:15. 1:35 on the way home. As much as I love sitting down and reading the news in the morning rather than having to drive, it's just too inconvenient. It's one of the only things I miss about working downtown.

I miss working downtown because of the convenience. But I don' miss the job. I am actually growing fond of my newnew commute.

I would kill to work downtown or the Highlands.

We had our sales meeting in New Orleans last week. From the time I landed on Tuesday until I got home on Friday I didn't check FB or Twitter once. I did work email but didn't get on the internet except for maybe on Tuesday. The only social media I looked at was linkedin and that's because we had about an hour discussion on how to use social media for work.

Could I? Of course.

 

Do I hope to ever be in a position where it's required? Nope.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

My computer was down for 2 weeks in Dec. No BGP, thought I would go NUTS!!!!!

No question I could go without FB.

 

Twitter would be a big problem as it's a huge news source for me.

Does this include work use? I mean I know I couldn't go with out e-mail or my phone just because of work alone.

Lets take work out of the equation of course you wouldn't risk losing your job over it. Mainly I am talking about work email.

 

Then in that case I think I could do without it for 90 days if I really wanted to. As long as I can still use the internet to pay my bills.

Without question, BGP would be the most difficult to give up. Ninety days of no Clizzy would be quite burdensome.
