Did anyone think the young dark haired ref helped out Cov Cath a little too much? Fouls in the first half SK 10, Cov Cath 4.

I'll tell you this, he's the best official this tournament has had this year. The officiating has been atrocious. SK plays tight on-ball defense and a lot of times that results in hand checks, etc.

Problems is many officials who should be doing Frosh ball have been promoted prematurely due to a lack of available officials. I talked to a ref who has been doing it 27 yrs and he said many have injuries and simply cant do it anymore. So i dont know who they get for Frosh games.

The sad part is, I have seen far worse this year in general, compared to this tournament. Not sure what that says but just a little consistency would be great!
