Coach Sorrell is still very much involved with CovCath. He not only is one of the assistant Coaches but is indeed extremely important to all the Head Coaches and he runs the grade school league, which is the breeding ground for all the future Colonel Basketball players.

CovCath jumped out to a 9 - 0 lead with a couple of steals and easy buckets. It was 15-3 right out of the gate. HHS tried to keep it close, but the Colonels kept the Birds to a 8 to 12 point deficit most of the game. Two three pointers by Joey Schuh were huge in the first half run.

 

Congrats to the boys from Highlands. This team has battled hard all season. They had a couple of blow-out losses and quite a few close wins. They finished with an overall record of 16-6.

 

Should be a great game Monday night. I am picking the Colonels to win the championship.

Really? Every kid in the state who plays JV hopes to do it every night. Happens in almost every JV/Varsity doubleheader. I've seen kids start a JV game, and then start a varsity game the same night.
