January 23, 201214 yr According to Tricia Macke of Fox 19 news, this is the third meth house fire in less than a month. A 36 year old male and 33 year old female were arrested on the meth charges.
January 23, 201214 yr Pretty sonn I'll have to spend $80 just to get a prescription for psuedoephedrine because of these addicts. I've read the last few articles about these meth houses and it seems like every time they have a young child in the midst of these labs. Absolutely sad.
January 23, 201214 yr Drugs are out of control period. Especially the heroin and Perc 30's. People losing everything, stealing money, not taking care of their kids. It's pathetic.
January 24, 201214 yr Author Should we also expect to hear about another fire down there? Sadly, I'm sure it wouldn't be much of a surprise.
January 24, 201214 yr Today I went to Walgreen's to buy some Advil Cold and Sinus gel caps. I had to take a paper tag from the shelf to the pharmacy. He then needed my Driver's License to scan and I had to sign a waiver. This is just to buy some cold medicine. Sad state of affairs we are living in folks. Sad. Wish these people would just leave our society. What a pathetic element we have living amongst us.
January 24, 201214 yr It's amazing how many old, deserted houses have burned in my county in recent years. Most people seem to think it is from people making meth. My neice visited from Frankfort and she had a project where she needed photos of old, 1800's era houses. She was doing something on haunted houses. I took her to about 7 old houses that I was aware of, and 4 of them had burned. Illegal prescription drugs and meth are a huge problem in most mountain counties these days.
January 24, 201214 yr seems like every time they have a young child in the midst of these labs. Absolutely sad. Probably because that young child needs the medication like Ridalin or Vyvanse, etc, to help their brain to work so they can function like the other kids at school. Is that child getting his medication? How's the school work going? Didn't think so......another statistic.
January 24, 201214 yr Fantastic, batman is now striking rural meth labs. We need a good super hero in this area.
