How can Campbell transfer to Holmes? Did he move? Does he have a new legal guardian? Maybe it's the "Housley" rule again. Maybe they traded him straight up for Scruggs for football.

I can see that. Holy Cross only had 1 loss coming into that game and was probably rated higher in the coaches poll.

There were way more fans at the CovCath game than any of the gyms in the 35th can handle. I don't know where the floor thing came from. If I'm Beechwood I play it at home, I would always want to play at home. As a fan of the sport, I'd like to see it played where everyone could get in.

I couldn't agree more. That's what makes the Bank of Ky. such a nice option for the regional. Do you know of anyone that likes standing in the cold waiting for them to clear the gym between regional games?

I believe Evans Fieldhouse (Holmes) can hold up to 3000 people. And if you have two great teams playing it will be packed to capacity (see Holmes/Cov Cath 2008 35th District Championship Game) which is always good to see.

I stopped going to regional games in large part because of that. Since the BOK opened, I haven't missed any of the regionals.

 

Someone mentioned Thomas More as an option for the districts this year. Capacity at TMC is 1,400.
