January 10, 201214 yr Think I read Bama gave up 92 yards this game. I mean, I have NEVER heard of a defense that dominate in a National Championship game. Hands down one of the most dominated games I've ever seen.
January 10, 201214 yr Good for Bama. They cut out the penalties and turnovers they had the first game and hit field goals. Makes all the difference in the world.
January 10, 201214 yr Doubt it would have mattered, but... ... I absolutely can't believe Miles wouldn't make a change at QB. Guess pride is one of those seven deadlies and he would not admit he was wrong.
January 10, 201214 yr Larry, I hope you haven't broke a hip or anything celebrating. Haha. Just messing. Congrats Bama. The most one sided NC game I've ever seen. I underestimated their offense too. I knew their D was amazing, but McCarron turned into a leader tonight.

Hands down one of the most dominated games I've ever seen. The Bama defense was amazing. I have never seen so many screens and bubble screens go for negative yardage. If they tried to go downfield, the QB was hit before the WR could get 10 yards off the line. Couldn't run up the middle. Couldn't run wide. Couldn't run option. Just total domination.
January 10, 201214 yr Congrats Bama. Still think LSU got screwed by having to play them again, but can't say a bad word about Bama. Their defense is incredible.

January 10, 201214 yr Author Doubt it would have mattered, but... ... I absolutely can't believe Miles wouldn't make a change at QB. Guess pride is one of those seven deadlies and he would not admit he was wrong. The word I think of is complacent. I understand that everything they did seemed to fail. But that's when you have to try radically different things. Like swapping QBs. Miles seemed utterly satisfied to go nowhere on offense and keep praying something else would bail them out. Bama never gave Honey Badger a chance to pull them out of the fire.
January 10, 201214 yr Author Did you see the stat that Lee had 1 TD and 7 INT versus Bama? Did you see Jefferson on the field? You have to try SOMETHING.
