Hooray. Now it works and so is, of course, no longer funny.
There is not an expiration date on those pictures being humorous.

I've been checking in on individual games with the free NBA package and every time I tune into a Bobcats game I see this fat big man. I usually flip the channel when they are on but tonight I had to find the identity of this fatty. It turns out to be Boris Diaw. I hadn't seen him in action since his days in Phoenix, man am I shocked how big he is these days.

A young, athletic team with a young, athletic point guard such as my 76ers could take advantage of the compressed schedule.

3-2, all on the road. Now 18 of next 22 at home.

Just wathced Faried swat Boogie twice in one possession, then he grabbed a board started the break and finished with a dunk.

Could be a huge stretch for them.

He's actually having a good year.

It is the best basketball at any level. Period.

I think it depends on what someone thinks is good basketball. If someone likes seeing team basketball, offensive sets ran, pressing, defense that can actually get stops. Basically the kind of basketball typical fans came up playing, then they wouldn't agree. Now if you consider watching the best basketball players in the world going one on one and scoring at will a lot of times, then yes the NBA is the best.

I think the biggest problem for why the NBA has so many people who don't like it, is because the guys are so good. It really does make it boring to some people, watching a guy go one on one and not much offense actually being ran. Which then makes it look like they are not even playing defense, even though I do think they are trying its just guys are so talented its hard to stop people. I like watching the NBA in the playoffs, but I admit the NBA is kind of boring to watch to me in the regular season.

I kind of see your point. In a full NBA season, a team just cannot possibly play traditional defense or they would kill themselves. As for the plays, NBA players don't need them. A great player can get all they need done in the pick and roll, or isolation. Screens are used a ton, Ray Allen, Rip Hamilton was one of the best back in the day, and tons of other aging guys have to use them. Traditional plays just are not needed for players as good as what the NBA has, you don't want Anderson Varejao or Ben Wallace catching the ball on the wing and having to make a pass to a cutter. The "Defense-free" NBA would eat that up.

I think people that say the NBA is not real basketball really miss the big picture. It looks so much different because everyone in the league is so, so, so good. Even the scrubs, even Scalabrine. Same thing with the NFL. Average plays you see every Sunday in the league are highlights on Sunday morning from games all around college football. I think the NBA provides and extremely pure brand of basketball because it is the only way guys that talented can play together on the same floor with the structure of the league as it is.

I agree and that is why I say I think the biggest part of it is because the guys in the NBA are so talented. So it just makes it look easy, even though it takes a great talent to be able to do the things they do. It just comes down to what kind of basketball people like to see, I know I definitely understand why the people who love the NBA like it though. Just for me it's ok, but I really do enjoy it come playoff time.

Honestly I think that is why this is my least favorite Coach Cal team. They kind of play like an NBA team right now, with no real flow and just a bunch of one on one stuff haha.

College basketball bores me until March. Mediocre players on mediocre teams is all I see.

Mediocre players is kind of wrong there. You have to be a good player to play division I, especially at the big schools which are the ones we see on tv. If it was a bunch of mediocre players, then I would have been a college basktball player. There are plenty of good players, but the NBA does have the best of the best. It just comes down to what people like to watch as I said. Watching players go one on one and not being able to stop each other does nothing for me. Watching players go all out because they are not the best in the world, and plays as a team is much more enjoyable to me to watch. I am not saying you are wrong for liking the NBA more though, everyone likes what they like.

The quality from D-1 to the pros is so large which is why I used the word mediocre. I enjoy watching pro quality way more than college quality and one seems mediocre when compared to the next. There is a reason there are only 60 guys drafted every year. How many D-1 players are there?

You obviously aren't watching the Clippers and Rockets right now. CP3 is throwing oop after oop....10 assists with 5 minutes left in the 3rd......one on one though.....

Everytime I watch the Clippers someone is trying Blake Griffin. Tonight it was Dalembert.
