Bengals 23 Cardinals 16

I guarntee that you would have been wrong. This game means everything to them, just like it does to us. Yes they know their in the playoffs, however their goal is the Super Bowl. Their best chance at doing that is by winning this game. They would have known that there would have been thousands of tickets available prior to this sale. Just like the Pittsburgh game and fans who decided to buy tickets that week. This game is like a playoff game, and just like a playoff game, people would have bought tickets the week of, and came. We will never know now though, because this sale will keep a lot of Ravens fans out. Unless Bengal fans sell them, which could happen.

I guarantee you you would be wrong followed up with a we will never know but the fans could still come and buy reduced price tickets from Gals fans has me cracking up. Are you guaranteeing you are right or will we never know? If Ravens fans show up like 35,000 deep you were right, but if they don't you still were right?

Very simple. The Bengals wouldn't be able to move the ball against Jets. Look at how they've done against good defenses (Pitt = 2 losses, Bal = loss, Houston = loss, SF = loss).

San Diego has Rivers. He'd carve the Bengals secondary up. (And yes, he'd probably throw some picks while at it, but he's a good QB, and teams with above average QBs have beaten the Bengals).

So 7-9 Seattle last year was a good team? Really?

San Diego with Rivers this year has played a lot of defenses that were not top defense, and still didn't help them do that well. As for the Jets, the Jets defense this year has not been the Jets defenses of the past. This years Jets defense has been very vulnerable, and especially since their lost their safety. Not to mention two of those games against good defenses that the Bengals played were without AJ Green, that makes a huge difference. Yet even in those games the offense did well enough to give them a shot in the 4th quarter. Those teams have great defenses and good offenses. The same can't be said about the Jets.

The Bengals would not easily beat either one of those teams, because they don't make anything easy on theirselves. However the Bengals have been good at beating teams like those teams this year. Those are the games the Bengals have won, and see no reason to think why they wouldn't win those games either. At worst it is a 50/50 split on who wins those games, and even if that is the case. Then the Bengals still get the nod on being better simply because they would be in the playoffs. We will see how this week plays out, and I have no problem admitting if I was wrong. If they don't make the playoffs, I will admit they were just an average team. I hope you could do the same if they make it, especially since you been constantly wrong about the most of the year. From saying they would suck before the season, to saying after the Texans game that their playoff hopes were basically gone. So I will admit it though if I am wrong, and they are wrong. However my percentage of being right this year has been much greater than yours, and hopefully it continues! :D

Your right we will never know, because since the Bengals did this. There won't be as many Ravens fans who would have came, because there won't be a guarntee to get a ticket now for them.

Which by the way you and Mustang have been fun to argue with this year, since you all been wrong a lot with this team! :D

 As usual with Bengals threads, FC is alone (but right ) in his opinion. :D

You are right, and that is what is awesome about it. I was alone against you all saying the Bengals would do well this year, everyone argued against me. Who was right? Me. Who was wrong and said no way, never going to happen? You. Who said the Bengals still had a good shot to make the playoffs after the Texans game? Me. Who said well now that we can put the playoff talk behind us, lets get ready for the future? You. So your right I been by myself in most of these arguments, however these arguments have ended in my favor more than it has the people arguing against me! :D

I'm not sure I would want the bye week in the playoffs if the regular season bye week is any indicator. Flat out stinkhole performances after a week off for many teams.

Hey!:D I said judge them by their record. I say they're pretty good.:thumb:

That is why I said as bad as you use to be. :D

This year. What about the past 5 years before that. Easy to toot you horn based off 1 year of predictions. I do give you some credit I never saw this coming but I'm pretty sure you predicted lofty expectations for them last year and they came up waaaay short.

Is there a planet called futurecoachitopia? You're the only one on it.

Good point that is very true. Honestly for the Steelers I don't think it matters as much for them playing on the road. I do think it matters a lot for the Ravens, they really need their home game or games. They are not as good of a team on the road, and they already know what its like trying to beat Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh in the playoffs. If they want to get to the Super Bowl, their best chance is by playing at home and it starts by needing to beat the Bengals.

Your right, I was wrong along with most people last year, and did eat crow for it. However of coarse I am going to toot my own horn this year, since I have been saying it since before the season. I didn't back off from it either, and took a lot of crap all year long from you all. Yet I still kept my opinion, and backed up why I felt like that. Most people based their opinion on well they just suck, they can't ever be good. They didn't actually look at the team, and see how they matched up with people. I admit they played an easier schedule, yet no one cut last years team a break for playing the hardest schedule. Remember that was one reason why I felt like they would do well to start the year, because they had an easy schedule to start with. Yet while EVERYONE knew it was an easy schedule to start with, they still felt like they would suck. Yet now they want to say well they were wrong only because of the easy schedule? Come on now, if they actually looked at it. It was easy to see that they could get off to a good start. Yes I have my opinion and I will say things to support my opinion, if it wouldn't happen then I would have admitted I was wrong. Just like I will admit they were just an average team if they don't make the playoffs. Yet some people keep trying to find anything to show they were right that they are not a good team, like they said before the year. Instead of just admitting they were wrong, and they are a good team. So I will continue it argue it, since people I believe seem to want the Bengals to fail to try to show they were right in away.

^I'll ask again. Do you feel 7-9 Seattle was a good team last year?

He doesn't answer questions that make his opinion look wrong

No I will answer that question. However it is funny to hear you say that SSC, since you never can admit you were wrong even when things play out right in front of your face...As for Seattle now I could admit they were an average team. Winning a division at 7-9 shows how weak that division was last year. The Bengals though could possibly be 10-6 in what many people consider the toughest division in football, while also playing 10 games against teams with top 10 defenses. It's hard for many teams to do well when playing that many good defenses, yet even with a rookie QB, WR, and OC they still could be 10 and 6 and in they playoffs. So SSC your able to try to back your opinion with things like backup QB's to try to show how you were right, however apparently you didn't want to mention how many top 10 defenses they played this year. Those top 10 defenses that have given those teams many wins. They are 8 and 0 against teams they are suppose to beat, while the teams that you all consider to be good teams have lost to the bad teams as you all say the Bengals have beaten. I guess it's ok if a good team loses to a bad team, but doesn't count when you beat a bad team? NE loses to Buffalo, Balt. loses to Jags, Seattle, Tennessee, Green Bay loses to KC. Its hard to always beat teams, even the teams who are not top in the NFL and they have done that. They have also beaten Tennessee who is fighting for the playoffs and kicked the crap out of Baltimore. Bascially giving the Bengals no credit for beating some teams, even though those teams have beaten other good teams.

It is pretty simple. I have said this already and I will say it again, and it's not to complicated. If the Bengals make the playoffs then they are a good team, and I don't know how you could say a 10 and 6 playoff team is not a good team. If they don't make it, then I will admit that I was wrong and they were just an above average team. However I hope you all could do the same, since you all have failed to really admit how wrong you all have been about the Bengals all year long.

^FC, what about them not being able to beat good teams are you failing to grasp? They're 1-6 against teams with winning records. That's the epitomy of an average team. They beat the bad teams and lose to the good ones. It can't be made any clearer than that. If you can't understand that, then this is a pointless conversation because you're obviously biased.

I am done with this now, I am hungry and getting off here. However hopefully you all can go along with what I said at the end of my last post. Even though I don't expect you all too, because I am sure you all will keep reaching at things to try to prove you all were not completely wrong about this years Bengals team. It has been like since you all thought they would suck, you all don't want to admit they actually are good because that would mean you were completely wrong. So I don't expect you all to admit they are a good if they make the playoffs, however I will stick by what I said. If they don't make it, I will admit they were nothing more than an above average team.

Good day you all, and go Bengals! Who Dey! :D
