October 7, 201213 yr Is a plea deal an admission of guilt? Not necessarily but to an extent. We won't know what she's pleaing to until monday so it's hard to say at this point. It's going to be a plea to a lesser charge or with certain charges dropped and probably will involve some sort of reduced sentence. Considering that Ms. Jones and her mother were both charged with seperate crimes it could be a little bit complicated.
October 7, 201213 yr Either way, I'm sure she will still lose her license to teach. Just as well though.
October 8, 201213 yr To me, this looks like it might be a win for the defense. If the Commonwealth Attorney had such an iron clad case they wouldn't settle for a plea, it's almost like they're trying to save face. I'm certain she will avoid jail time. She will never teach again, the mom on the other hand, who knows what she gets. With a plea does this mean we won't get to hear all of the evidence in the case?
October 8, 201213 yr There will also be a plea deal with the mother. Wondering if that's how it all came to this point.

October 8, 201213 yr Wow...they were even seen leaving the courthouse together? Ballsy! I assume she is no longer engaged. For some strange reason I don't see this relationship ending well.
October 8, 201213 yr Wow...they were even seen leaving the courthouse together? Ballsy! Eh what's it matter at this point she's no longer a teacher, he's now an adult and the court proceedings are done. Other than public perception they didn't have much to lose and I think the publics perception is probably pretty made up at this point.
October 8, 201213 yr I assume she is no longer engaged. She got married last summer and the marriage was annullled after the honey moon.
October 8, 201213 yr Wow...they were even seen leaving the courthouse together? Ballsy! All that comes to my mind about the situation now is god she's a loser. She won, but she really lost because we all know the truth.

October 2020: "Mommy, tell me again how you met Daddy when he couldn't understand the Pythagorean Theorom." "Oh, your daddy was so cute. He thought it was A squared MINUS B squared. I said, 'OMG , you're the SQUARE. He then said 'doesn't matter I'm going to show you my big theorem later this weekend when you hubby is out of town." "I love that story, Mommy."
October 8, 201213 yr This is a bunch of crap. Leaving the courtroom with him is basically a slap in the Commonwealth's face. So what, she loses her license to teach, she can go dance with poles for 15 yrs and make a living. If this were a man they would have hung him.
