Apparently Jones filed a restraining order yesterday against her ex-husband and is now claiming he beat her and blackmailed her in to marrying him. This is according to him, I haven't heard or seen any thing else where, sounds messy though.

Wife remembers the day she showed off the engagement ring to cheer parents and Dixie cheer squads. There was no coercion or blackmail. My daughter was a peer tutor for her during her junior year. (News articles reported erroneously that Jones was York's peer tutor. The students are either peer tutors/ aides for the teacher if given recommendation by faculty member) Not taking sides here, but imagine being engaged to her, and being dragged through the mud by "thedirty.com", having your medical records made available to prove the existance/non-existance of STD's, going through more medical testing along with Jones in preparation for the trial. For some unknown reason, he supports her and stands by her side during all of that madness, plan a big wedding, all the while she is having sex with one of her students. She lies about all of it repeatedly, and you find text messages while on your honeymoon, confirming all of the allegations. I have no knowledge of any beatings, etc, neither does the wife or daughter. But, considering all of the practices, competitions, games, fund raisers and 5 day long trips to Disney for Nationals, neither of them saw any bruising or behavior consistent with abuse. Daughter does remember Jones talking quite a bit in the classroom and at practices about how much she loved him and couldn't wait to get married. Seems a little inconsistent to me, but they aren't trained to spot that kind of stuff. It also seems funny that she is coming out with these allegations after he spoke out saying that she got off scot-free, along with other comments.
