Walton-Verona should be ranked. Ballard too high(maybe #15), Anderson too high with two losses(maybe 12 or 13), IMO

The Guru doesn't like the number 13.

When the rankings were developed Bryan Station was No. 13. Also, rankings were compiled before the second loss by Anderson. If they came out right now I suspect W-V would be ranked.

 

Rankings are tough anytime but are particularly tough in the early season. Things seem to change almost game night to game night. Sometimes perhaps too much weight is given to preseason rankings and it seems tougher for a pre-ranked team to prove they don't belong than for an unranked one to prove they do.

Walton has beaten both South Oldham and Dunbar and only lost to Boone by 6 (actually a game they had a chance at winning). Don't know how Walton can be left out after these victories. Also, I think Anderson is way too high at this point in the season.

Walton should be in top 20 before South Oldham for sure.

Glad to see Dunbar getting ranked.

Bryan Station shouldn't have dropped much from there pre-season ranking, maybe an omission? Losses to Ryle and Perry Cntl but beat Madison Central.

Certainly would put NCC up there before NDA. Defending regional champ, haven't lost any yet. Nothing against NDA, but who have they beat/played?

 

Ncc vs Boone tomorrow on the hill! Walton and NDA on the other hill tonight. Nice NKy match-ups...

Owen County doesn't hit the meat of its schedule until the week after Christmas, but any team that Rianna Gayheart plays for should be ranked.

This is like a gift of matches and gasoline for Christmas!

Boone beat NCC by 3! Ranked #3 and won by 3, NewCath is better than most people think. Boone is the real deal! Solid in all area's. Moss is very impressive.

Nelson County should be in there.

Where exactly are these rankings coming from? A newspaper or is this just someones opinion? I am just curious.
