If a team owned by the league helps create one I think it is obvious why owners would be mad. It was part of their big ordeal, protecting their assets. Crappy, but understandable. I would have loved to have seen LB get his first title against the Super Lakers. What a finals that would have been.

December 9, 201114 yr It was pressure by the owners from my understanding. That's what I'm reading as well. Saying a majority of CBA focus was on helping to build up smaller market teams and making them more successful so it was in turn the small market teams who raised all the ruckus over this trade. Trade was then knocked down after repeated complaints from other owners (small market mainly).
