Best guess on where CP3 ends up? I know Golden State was brought up but Paul wants to be in either LA or NYC but I don't see either getting done.

 

I don't think he goes anywhere. Just doesn't make any sense. Not a chance they get an offer close to what they were getting before. Nobody is gonna want to deal with that.

The first thing I thought when I read the Lakers dropped was that they needed Pau to get Howard. And they also probably don't want Howard to go somewhere and have the CP3 deal die and be left with what they have.

A few thoughts. Stern has basically killed the Hornets as it stands right now. CP3 will play out is contract this year and walk. Hornets will be left with squat. I think if the Lakers and can work out a deal for Howard they are better off anyway. He's better then Pau adn Bynum can't stay healthy.

This Laker fan wants Howard but what the NBA has done to CP3 and the Hornets is a shame. I read somewhere that the Hornets have 6 players on their roster.

If the Lakers can find a way to snag Howard, Nelson, and Turkoglu, I think that'd a good enough haul to justify getting Pau and Bynum out. They'd just need a little more size somewhere in the front court. Can't rely on just Howard.

I don't think he is being the GM. He is being the owner. He is looking at how this deal impacts the value of his team (the Hornets) and he needs to do it even more than a typical owner because he knows he is trying to sell his team.

 

Once again he isn't the owner. The other 29 owners ponied up the cash when needed. Stern is quite clearly acting as the GM by demanding what is included in the deal back to NO. He is now demanding that Eric Bledsoe is involved in the deal with the Clippers. It's a really bad look and I'm not sure that it's legal. It has been reported that if he nixed the trade before the players signed the CBA that they wouldn't have signed the CBA.

The NBA needs to sell the Hornets fast...

I think he wants to play with a dominate PG. That's NJ, not Derrick Fisher.
