Rumor is younger players and picks. Stern is making the biggest mistake ever by being the GM here. It's the most absurd thing a major league has done in decades.

 

I don't think he is being the GM. He is being the owner. He is looking at how this deal impacts the value of his team (the Hornets) and he needs to do it even more than a typical owner because he knows he is trying to sell his team.

Yahoo reported that all 3 teams looked to the league asking how they wanted it to go down. Not a good look for a league many people think is fixed.

 

It's pretty sad really.

I guess the Lakers will use the trade exception for the contract of Hedo. Only thing that makes sense. No other reason to trade a guy like Odom to your competitor.

Plus Cuban helped block the CP3 trade. I don't get it yet, there is more to come that is for sure.

IMO the only two reasons the Lakers would pull out of this deal is, they know the second trade will get shot down as well or they think they can get Dwight Howard.

Best guess on where CP3 ends up? I know Golden State was brought up but Paul wants to be in either LA or NYC but I don't see either getting done.

Any exception created by dealing Odom isn't big enough to take in Turkoglu. I'm not seeing LA's endgame here, nor why Dallas would help.
