If that is the case it will be the surprise of the year for sure. It would be great if NDA does become a top team in NKY, I would think it would get more girls involved in the sport.

Other than players being one year older is there something that changed to make you think a mediocre team suddenly goes to a top 3 or 4 team? Did they bring in a stud pitcher? Is is the new coach?

Highlands has only 1 Senior this year.....Yikes!!! That could be good for the future of bad for this year. Who knows, time will tell. I am very impressed with what strides Highlands Fastpitch is making. They were able to field a Frosh team once again this year. The Frosh team has at least 11-6th graders on the Frosh team with 2 more 6th graders playing JV. If these girls can just relax and have fun, their time as a JR High/High School Softball players will be something they will cherish forever. Good luck to all the teams out there......

No, GRC and Montgomery are comparable. None are outright better.

I am not sure I would completely agree with you especially this year. Montgomery Co. and GRC IMO are the top two in the 10th and I believe Bourbon should be up there too. I think Ryle, Boone Co., Conner and St. Henry at least to start the season will be the top teams in the 9th, and they can all play with those from the 10th. I feel the rest of the 10th and 9th are pretty comprable but these teams mentioned will be tops in their region to start the year off. There could however be a couple teams from each region that may surprise these teams but feel neither region is really that deep beyond these teams. Again just MO.

Conner lost some. St. Henry has good pitching but not a lot else. Boone Co. has a good pitcher and some offense but not a lot of D. In the 10th you have Montgomery, Clark, Bourbon, Brossart, Harrison and even some of the others like Nicholas and Bracken will be good
