Realistically though, I'd like to see Covington Catholic take on the Louisville big boys. Trinity/St.X/Manual/Male...Preferably in Louisville so I won't have to travel far.

This years sophs last years frosh are the best frosh I have ever seen at HHS. This is in the 30-35yrs I have been going to HHS games..

 

I was at the freshman game at Boyle in 2010 and I look forward to following the progress of this year's sophomore class. They are easily the most impressive freshman team I ever seen. I never caught the names then but when I kept hearing Nick Harris' name called on Saturday and they mentioned he was a sophomore I knew I had seen that kid run. That's a special group of boys right there.

I agree. 9 times out of 10 they're tremendous games. How about at a neutral site on a Friday under the lights?

So you would like to see Highlands / Trinity , but not Boyle / Trinity ?

2009 or 2010? Absolutely. 2011, 2012? Shoot naw. I may be blind and loyal but I'm not stupid.

 

I didn't put BG/Trinity because I believe they will play St. X next year and then likely go back to playing Trinity. BG has played Trinity or St. X routinely for the last several years so seeing them against one of the Louisville privates should be expected annually. Whichever one BG plays next year suits me fine.

I would like to see Beechwood play a small school team from across the river. Yes we scrimmaged Goshen this year and it was a blood letting and it was a scrimmage. Who is a small school power from across the river?

I didn't realize that Indiana 4A enrollment was that much different than Ky 4A . As for the mirror image thing , I was talking about winning tradition and large fan base and excellent programs . Thanks for the info.
