November 25, 201114 yr Two things..... 1 - Louisville would throttle UK at this point. 2 - If anyone has a complaint about the Big East and their BCS bid, they are welcome to join. Disagree! I do agree Louisville would probably win again, however they definitely would not throttle them as you said. UK is not good, but the game probably would end up around the same as last game with Louisville winning by a one or two possession margin. Louisville is better at the moment, but it's not by that huge margin like it use to be when Petrino was there. If Louisivlle was in the SEC, they would look as about as sad as the UK program does right now. UK would have at least had a shot to get some confidence going in the Big East like Louisville did after a bad start. UK after a bad start to the season had no shot to get any confidence going in SEC Play. If you switch the two teams, all of a sudden UK would have looked like the better program who got better as the year went on. While Louisville would have gotten throttled most weeks in the SEC. Also keep in mind I am someone who has been realistic about this UK team before the year even started. I knew this UK team would struggle big time this year and probably not make a bowl. I based that on how they just were not that good of a team, and the conference they played in. UL is not that good of a team either, they are better than UK but not by a big margin. They just happend to play in a very poor Big East this year. I usually try to back up the Big East, however the Big East is just really poor this year.

November 25, 201114 yr Congrats to Louisville They would probably win 2 games max in the SEC, but that's not their fault. I really wish the Big East didn't have an automatic BCS bid though lol
November 25, 201114 yr Louisville clinched a share no matter what. How does the tiebreakers work to determine who goes to the BCS bowl game though? There's a lot to play out before we even know what tiebreakers will be used. Currently, the two teams that beat Louisville are still sitting with the same amount of losses, and Cincinnati especially looks to have a good chance of winning out as their remaining opponents are UConn and Syracuse. Should BOTH of them lose, then Louisville will clinch 100%, as they'd win any tiebreaker. That is about as far as it goes for what can be said definitely at this point. West Virginia and Pitt are the only two 2-loss teams that play each other, so it is conceivable as many as four teams could end up tied at the top. Currently, these are the BCS Rankings of the two-loss teams: West Virginia - 26th Rutgers - 33rd Cincinnati - 38th Louisville - 61st Pittsburgh - 65th So Louisville wants no part of that.
November 25, 201114 yr To expand even further on my last post, the only tiebreaker of more than two teams that Louisville would win is a three-way tiebreaker with Rutgers and West Virginia because Louisville beat both those teams. This would be the breakdown of the ties: -Louisville, Rutgers, West Virginia - Louisville wins by virtue of being 2-0 against the others. -Louisville, Rutgers, Cincinnati - Rutgers would be current winner. Each team 1-1 against other two, forcing it to BCS ranking, where currently Rutgers is highest. -Louisville, Rutgers, Pitt - Rutgers would be current winner. Each team 1-1 against other two, forcing it to BCS ranking, where currently Rutgers is highest. -Louisville, West Virginia, Cincinnati - West Virginia would be current winner. Each team 1-1 against other two, forcing it to BCS ranking, where currently West Virginia is highest. -Louisville, Cincinnati, Pitt - Cincinnati wins by virtue of being 2-0 against the others. -Louisville, Rutgers, West Virginia, Cincinnati - West Virginia would be current winner. Louisville and West Virginia are each 2-1 against other teams, forcing it to BCS ranking, where currently West Virginia is highest. -Louisville, Rutgers, Pitt, Cincinnati - Rutgers would be current winner. Rutgers and Cincinnati are each 2-1 against other teams, forcing it to BCS ranking, where currently Rutgers is highest. So for Louisville, it boils down to this - If either Cincinnati or Pittsburgh wins both of their remaining games they will not get the BCS nod. Obviously either would win head to head tiebreakers and as shown above the only 3 or 4 way tiebreaker Louisville can win is one that doesn't involve either team. Louisville has zero chance of catching any of the higher teams in the BCS rankings as it would take losses to force them down.

Agreed, and while the Big East is down (and Louisville is by no means a world-beater), it is absurd to compare the team with a true Freshman replacing the starting QB mid-game at the beginning of the year, to this team that clawed its way to at least a share of the Big East title by improving each week.
November 25, 201114 yr I bet Louisville wishes they would've sat down the xbox controllers before the Pitt game now. Call of Duty really put them into a tough situation. Lol. But, even as a UK fan. I really hope UL wins the conference. I really think they reeled in a winner with Strong.

What do you base this statement on?:confused: I watched a little bit of today's game and some of the blown defensive assignments wouls not happen in a good high school game. As bad as UK is, they would be contending in the Big East this year.
