November 18, 201114 yr I usually go with option 1. I'd probably go route #3 simply due to the fact that there always seems to be some delay on 71.
November 18, 201114 yr I have traveled this very frequently trying and timing all the mentioned ways. The percentages are in favor of I75 to I64 and across from my experience. I have achieved the same time going the I75, I71, 127 South route, but especially at night the interstate would likely be safer. Edited November 18, 201114 yr by doomer typo
November 19, 201114 yr If you are a politician, just follow the money. They did spent a hell of a lot of money smoothing out US 127. Back in the day, that road was awful and not recommended for human consumption.
November 20, 201114 yr Option 3 is without a doubt the best way to go. I have traveled to Frankfort hundreds of times and this is always the best option.

November 21, 201114 yr Drove Opt #3 this moring to Mero St in Frankfort. I always take this route and it is very easy.
November 22, 201114 yr Done this a few times and option 3 is definitely my first choice. Going all the way to I-64 then over and back up makes for a little longer trip, doesn't really save time, and is not as scenic as 460.

I Google Maped the 460 route and it looks like a one-lane road through the country, with no street lights. Seems a little unsafe.
November 22, 201114 yr 460 is a lot straighter road than 127. Still my choice, but go I-64 if you feel safer. Deer are everywhere, so be alert :eek:
