Are you kidding me? Beechwood still #2. That is ridiculous. After the schedule they played with their only loss to arguably one of the top 5-10 teams in the state. This senior class was undefeated freshman champs and they have earned that #1 ranking. I can't believe they are still #2. I lean towards Beechwood being #1 but this one is too close to call.

Hear is what Vor really said. I will be shocked if Mayfield even keeps it close if Mayfield even gets that far. Everytime BW has a great team Mf always gets beat early. This is the most talented group in BW history and we have been planning to celebrate this group as such when they win the state title. :laugh:

I missed the memo where we rank teams based on how they did as freshmen. I need to insert Monroe County and Green County into the top five of their classes I guess.....

The "freshman" class notation has been a running joke all year for lack of other fodder until................the freshman went and won again this year. Out of curiousity, and for fun, we should post the freshman records next to the final top 10 and see how that correlates. I might have some research material for my doctoral dissertation.

Let's be clear. This years team won the small school championship. This year seniors won the BIG SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP!
