I'm excited for it. My uncle has a copy of it already and played it today, said it was awesome.

I have the game but forgot that my Xbox live account ran out about 2 months ago, so I can't even test out online play if I wanted to (or even if I was able to). Campaigns is pretty sweet thus far.

My son and I are both off tomorrow. We're setting up the living room with two TV's and PS3's. We'll be tackling the campaign first. I'm thinking it will take 4-5 hrs to get through it. So we should be ready for some online play by midday tomorrow.

I purchased MW2 the week it came out and only played it a couple of times. I know COD makes some great games and I enjoy playing them but do to my limited gaming anymore about the only thing I do play is sports games. I do like Call of Duty though and Modern Warfare has been by far the best series, so I may end up getting it.

 

I went out for lunch today at work only to see that gamestop already has a line of people waiting for the game. This was at 12 o'clock. Saw on someones facebook they had been there since 5am this morning. That my friends is dedication.

I'll be there for the midnight release. Afterwards, my roommates and I will have four TV's with four 360's set up in the living room. Probably going to hate my life at work tomorrow morning. Oh well....

The commercials for the Call of Duty's have gotten pretty good over the years.

Remember that if you have prestiged inmany of the previous Call of Duty games, you will start out the MW3 multiplayer with one prestige shop token per game that you have prestiged in. I think you can have up to four prestige tokens when you first get it meaning that its narrowed down to four of the previous games.

 

The best part about using the prestige token is that whatever you unlock will stay unlocked even if you prestige after reaching level 80...so if you unlock a gun during your first prestige and you really really like it and want to start out subsequent prestiges with it, use a prestige token to keep it unlocked forever.

 

Another fun fact that has been released about the prestige shop is that once you max out on your prestiges, you can use a prestige token to reset yourself back to level 1 and do the prestiging all over again...this may not interest some, but for those that really like ranking up, you can continue to do this for the life of the game.
