I'm fine with fall but if I'm not skiing, I want no part of winter.

Snow became useless to me after high school.

It's like this thread was designed to just cut me right to the core. This is harsh stuff guys.
Haha. I did at least say it's because I don't understand it. If this lockout continues I could be persuaded. Though I have a serious question, how cold is it inside the arena? I've only been to a few hockey games my freshman year of college and I was "freshman in college" drunk at the midnight UK games...temperature wasn't much of an issue.

Having said that, I do agree with PP92 as of right now.

I generally like autumn, but I just can't handle winter. The cold is absolutely depressing. This is the worst kind of winter day: there's snow on the ground, the roads are clear but are covered in that disgusting brown slush, and the sun is out in a completely blue sky. Days like that tempt me to buy a one way ticket to the equator.
I'm going to have nightmares.

Winter is definitely the biggest offender but I can't help associating it with fall...

Give me LOTS and LOTS of snow! I love it!

What I hate about fall and winter?

People that want summer.

That's me my friend!

There are few things in this world more fun than going to an outdoor range in the snow and ice with some buddies. Shooting in the winter is lightyears more fun than in the summer. Also...football and snow=awesome.

Don't worry my friend, I've got your back.

:clap::clap::thumb:

Cincinnati drivers.

I hate them all times of the year. :D

Another thing I hate, no despise, no hate to the highest level of hate about winter.....canceled basketball games because of the snow/ice. Snow on a scheduled game day ruins the next 24 hours for me. Snow on a make up game day ruins me for 48 hours.

Ever get in your car in January and it's so unbearably hot inside that you can't even touch the steering wheel and the seat is... nope... that only happens in summer. Getting in your car in January is exactly the same as it is outside.

Ever walk around downtown one afternoon heading back to the car/office after a meeting and you're sweating profusely and when you get back you can't take your jacket off because you've sweat through your shirt and it's really embarassing but there's nothing you can do about it because you had to wear that dumb suit all day even though it's 97 degrees outside... nope... I comfortably return to a warm office and simply take off my coat in the wonderful wintertime.

Summer is awful.

By the way, this is nothing new to me. I understand I've always been in the minority here, but I seriously don't understand how anyone could prefer it to be 95 degrees in the summer than 30 degrees in the winter.

 It's funny how different people can be. I love the heat. I think getting in a car in the dead of winter and shivering while wiping condensation off the windshield until the heater warms up is unbearable, bordering on torture. Leave me in the cold for twenty minutes and I'd spill state secrets. 105 degrees outside? Awesome! Crank it up.

Exactly!

I usually ski one or two weeks each winter so I can't say I hate it at all. However, I DO hate the diminished amount of daylight.
