 It's funny how different people can be. I love the heat. I think getting in a car in the dead of winter and shivering while wiping condensation off the windshield until the heater warms up is unbearable, bordering on torture. Leave me in the cold for twenty minutes and I'd spill state secrets. 105 degrees outside? Awesome! Crank it up.

 I wouldn't even last that long. I'm with you! Power to the cold people who want to be warm!

That's me my friend!

There are few things in this world more fun than going to an outdoor range in the snow and ice with some buddies. Shooting in the winter is lightyears more fun than in the summer. Also...football and snow=awesome.

Why exactly is shooting in the winter lightyears more fun than in the summer?

Ever walk around downtown one afternoon heading back to the car/office after a meeting and you're sweating profusely and when you get back you can't take your jacket off because you've sweat through your shirt and it's really embarassing but there's nothing you can do about it because you had to wear that dumb suit all day even though it's 97 degrees outside... nope... I comfortably return to a warm office and simply take off my coat in the wonderful wintertime.
I never envy suit-wearing downtown folks during the summer when I comfortably ride my bike down in shorts to eat lunch. Actually, it's one of my goals in life to never work somewhere that suit-wearing is required. :D

I usually ski one or two weeks each winter so I can't say I hate it at all. However, I DO hate the diminished amount of daylight.
I ski a lot. But I'm ok with traveling to ski.
