The SK O-line can't block the defense is to small up front, blitz to much and leave to big of a cushion on the wide outs. Marksberry had no problem benching Kuntz against Boone. When will he bench the starting O-line? Or bench the coaching staff!

Changes need to be made though. Look at Ryle and Campbell their coaching staffs are full of ex-head coaches.

The first thing they need to do is teach some O-linemen how to block. Maybe send them to a Higlands camp they are best at blocking.

They have talent! Just need to teach the guys up front how to block. The QB has no time to throw and runs for his life. Last year the same thing Lawrence had to run for his life but was able to make some huge plays. The year before that Miles Simpson made the line look like superstars. If they could get a coach that could teach these kids all things in blocking and movement they would have a solid year.

Last night they finally let Derek Mills play on offense at TE and was running routes. But I just seen him last Saturday with a cast on his hand how is he supposed to catch? SK also had another player playing with a separated shoulder. SK has over 70 players why play a kid that is hurt and that could cause a more serious injury to them when you have plenty of other players that are healthy.

I guess everybody is happy with SK 2-6 it all starts with coaching.

The only reason I made this thread is because I don't see Marksberry firing himself seeing how he is the AD at Simon Kenton.

I am sorry if people don't like this thread but I am tired of people saying SK does not have enough talented players. They have a lot of good players. I strongly believe it is poor coaching.

Marksberry record at SK right now is 68 wins 64 losses. Not very good.

No Simpson, and that hard nosed, quick QB that graduated last year and this is what you got. Meaning those 2 kids and probably a few others made the coaches look better than what they really are [were]. Anyhow I'm not a SK hater or anything like that but definitely not impressed. Surprised how small they are upfront for a big school.
