68-64 is not a very good record. Kind of hard to fire the head coach when he is the AD.

Maybe Spartan79 should apply! How many of those wins came in the last 3 years? Probably close to half? That would indicate to me that he is improving, right?

Just listen to the fans in the stands. I have heard fans complain about the coaching the past 4 years.

Maybe being HC and AD is to much for one person to handle.

You might want to ask Mr. Spritzky about this as well. Can't remember if he gave up AD a year or two ago or is still AD. Similar issue regarding coaching at Dixie.

If anything Marksberry should start playing some of the younger players so they are ready for next year.

Admittedly, I have only seen 2 SK games in the Marksberry era, but it seems to me that since he's been the coach a lot of good things have went on with football. He has had put SK in the "good team" conversation year in & year out and won some big games...as for blocking or a lack thereof by the SK O line, the coaches are not always to blame. Players have to assume some of the responsibility.

 

IMO Coach Marksberry won't be run out of town. SK football is in good hands.

Really??? You have 5 seniors on the squad that have DII or NAIA schools looking at them to further there education and keep playing a sport they love and you are worried about what happens next year??? They can work on next year from Jan. 2nd when they start work outs and agilities til the dead period! Sounds like you might be a fan of the winning, not of the program!
