Person Of Interest (CBS Series)

In what ways do you see this being a challenge to writers? I've often thought the same about various shows---namely the CSI series, but they've done pretty well with those.

Just the way CBS sets up their shows, it'll be difficult to carry a long story line and if you're not a top 5 show for them then you're likely in the top 5 of shows to be discontinued next.

I thought this show definitely looked interesting and I like the main two actors a lot. One of the producers for Lost does this show as well. I might have to check it out.

I was referring to the assistant DA, and her role.

Gotcha. I actually sort of saw that coming. Or at least I was thinking, "She should be the enemy."

Good points. But with one of the Nolans behind this, I think the show has a very good chance at staying good for a prolonged period.

Does Finch have a twin?

Not that I'm aware of.

Are you maybe thinking of the flashback scenes when he first built "the machine?" I don't remember seeing anyone else that looked like him.

Was it a flashback scene when he was running on the treadmill? I guess I missed that part. I noticed he wasn't limping then. Guess I wasn't paying close enough attention.

Yes. I think that was 2002. The font they used to reveal that at the bottom of the screen wasn't all that great. I had to back it up to make sure it said 2002. Also, the scene toward the end when Finch & that guy that talked to him while on the treadmill...the one where they realize that the machine can also reveal non-terror-related crimes was a flashback as well. I think that one was maybe 2007?

So you're saying I shouldn't be reading my book while watching this show?

I have a hard time keeping up doing absolutely nothing else at all, so my guess is that's not a good idea.

As he exited the building, he passed by a bust at the front door. It was inscribed "Our Founder" and I think it was the blonde guy he had been talking to about the machine.

I wondered about the statue, but never connected the blonde guy. You might be onto something there. Said he died in 2010, right?

Interesting ending this week.

I missed it. Went to Bardstown to move my niece from Michigan. Didn't get home till late last night. Can you give me a short recap?
