Sounds like Travis Ford over promised and under delivered. The cardinal sin in business.

I think Ford sends every kid in the state of Ky a letter. Sounds like a boo-boo on his part. If I was the kid from Rowan Co, I think I would consider another school. Just my opinion.

Totally agree.... Hum, was good enough to play for him in April, but once he over books..... he needs to go to prep school??? If a man's character is determined by his actions, Ford has no Character... IMO

Other coaches will use this against him. If my son was being recruited, integrity of the coaches recruiting him would be high on the list.

As a Marshall football fan, I sure hope he comes to Marshall to play QB.

I really hate this for Adam. He gets a D-1 scholly in which seems his favorite sport to play...basketball...then told he may have to go to Prep School. Looks like he needs to open up his recuitement again. With Rowan Co's schedule and maybe another apperance in the State tourney, hopefully he will land even a better offer. Best of luck to him.

I really find this odd that everyone doesn't realize he decommitted from Marshall and this may be similar to what he did to them. At least Ford was still offering him something. I'm sure it will all end well.

Maybe if Ford had been straight up with him from the jump he may still be committed to Marshall.

The few people I have met from Madisonville have had less than favorable things to say about Ford.

Who doesn't realize this?
Who doesn't realize this?

I think he's saying why is it OK for the young man to change his mind but not Travis Ford?

Then I totally agree.

I've heard similar, although I'm not one to believe that necessarily affects his recruiting relationships. I could be wrong.
