16 vs 24 according to USA Today.

Absolutely. Enjoy it for this year and next. This is a "once in a lifetime" group of kids that are coming through Trinity right now. I do not expect this level of talent to be the norm going forward and I expect that as early as 2013, things will return to normal.

Maybe. Maybe not.

Trinity has it going with the two main sports. The level of athlete they are getting is different than even couple years ago. Interesting to see what happens after this Jr class. If Trinity wins 7th region in basketball the private vs public debate will be elevated for sure. No one has cared as much about Trinity dominating 6a football but basketball is another story should they start a run of Sweet Sixteen's.

Regardless of our athletes in Basketall, I think our public school opponents get the lion's share of those in the Louisville area. There's J-Town, Eastern, Ballard, Male...to name a few.

With us being #16 after having been unranked previously. That is a heck of a jump, I hope we can live up to that.

Basketball, one guy could make a good team become a great team, not so in football.

Can anybody talk about how Coach Cov. has handled the 3-3-5 that Elder employs. Is their zone going to be susceptible to the speed of Quick like T's first three opponents. I have been listening from afar(southwest Fl.) and have gotten the impression that the o and d lines have been fairly dominant, can the same be expected against St.X?

I will try this again......

I doubt Trintiy goes into X and hangs 50 plus on them like they did against Elder.

I do think T can win but maybe by a late FG. I will go with 17-14 T'Rocks.

There, if T wins by 50 then they better start asking Sweep for weekly predictions. LOL

Once again I am going to go with T wins by 3 TD's.:lol::lol:

I wonder what's on the minds of the Cincy X players right now ? When the big green machine from the ville rolls into Cincy friday , how confident are the X players that they can really hang with the Rocks ?

Any webcasts for this game ? Go Rocks !!!

99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% sure the Cincy X players are confident they can win. They have the history and program to do it. I wouldn't expect a Cincy X team (or Louisville X team, for that matter) to be intimidated prior to the game. Maybe after the 1st quarter or half. :D Well, actually not even then. We were up by 11, I think, and it looked like we could win going into halftime when I was up there to see the game a few years ago. They came back and got us. Again, no reason for a lack of confidence on their part, or any over-confidence on ours.

That 1 gazillionth of a % looms large at this stage of the game ! I would think the last weeks Elder score and game is affecting the X players a lot more than the Rocks players .
