What are the measurables on Brooks? Seems like next year he could be a nice one-two tandem with Dawkins.

May be, but it is not "absolute." Dale will field the best 11 he can. If that is with McCoy at QB and others at WR, so be it. If it is with McCoy at WR and Houliston at QB, so be it. I seem to recall one of the Bardo kids deciding he could help the team at TE rather than QB. Part of the dedication to the program.

There is no doubt who the qb will be next year... NONE!!!

Although the topic for another thread, Bir is very talented and may well be able to play D-1 in college. The only drawback may be his size. How big is he?

That's a pretty bold statement right there raider. As another more well know BGP'er likes to say, the only thing predictable about Dale, is his unpredictability. It's still very early in the season, but I'm with jpa on this one. Houliston has shown some guts & nice poise twice now against Trinity, and if he continues to fill out over the next year, I don't think the QB spot is a no-doubter.

Then why isn't he the backup varsity qb? Last year McCoy was the jv qb and the varsity backup..Where would McCoy impact the game more next year? Would it be at qb where he touches the ball every play or wr where he might touch it 5 or 6 times a game? To me there is no doubt where McCoy will be playing next year. He is way more dangerous at qb..But like you said you never know what Dale is thinking that's for sure..:thumb:

With all due respect to Drew, he is not the caliber QB that McCoy is but still a great kid. He may end up on the defensive side next yt just to get him on the field.
