Trinity 30 Highlands 6 (JV)

Featured Replies

The game started at 11 a.m. today at Trinity. I left after 3 quarters with T leading 23-0. Does anyone have a final now?

That's when I had to leave also. That Brooks kid is the real deal. Now I see why a freshmen sees some varsity action.

I agree, especially in the first half. I also thought T kept Highlands bottled up on their side of the 50 for the most part.

Was McCoy for HHS playing qb? He is #1..

I'm not positive but I don't think so.

He is a starting wr on varsity. He was the jv qb last year as a soph.. I wonder why he isn't playing qb. McCoy is probably the best athlete on the whole team..

Is the thinking that he is the successor to Towles?

Absolutely...He is really really good..

Final Score> Trinity 30 - Highlands 6

Rocks sacked Highland quarterback and recovered the fumble in the endzone to make it 30-0. Highlands scored a touchdown with 1:53 remaining in the game. Two point conversion failed.

Three quarterbacks played for the Rocks... Sophomore QB, #15 Reggie Bonnafon started and showed a lot of talent. Freshman running back, #45 Donald Brooks was the most impressive player on the field. The Bluebirds had no answer for him.

It was nice talking with some of the Highland fans... have a safe trip back to NKY!

No! #10 played the whole game.

Why no McCoy? I don't get it..:idunno:

Who is #10?

The frosh qb from last year.. I believe Houliston (sp)..

Not sure there is any good reason to play one of your starting varsity wide receivers as a JV quarterback when you have already experienced some injuries at the wide receiver position. Trinity overall just too big to handle. BTW...#10 is Drew Houliston, sophomore, who I think took about 99.9% of the snaps for the Frosh team last year.

#45 for Trinity is going to have an AMAZING four years!! Mr. Football 2014?

If McCoy is going to be the varsity qb next year I would think they would want him playing qb..JMO
