Doesn't really look like I was wrong here.

I know those pesky facts are exactly what I said they were, even in this post from RTS. Obama has kicked so many people out that those trying to get BACK in have surpassed those coming for the first time. How does this dispute what I said about him increasing border security. He is going to deport more in his one term than Bush did in two. Again, you guys fell all over yourself congratulating RTS when all he did was re-inforce what I said. Do you read these things or not?
What about re-entry don't you get? Kicking them out, as you put it, has near zero effect when you look at illegal re-entry. I understand your cheer-leading for Obama since you think he's all that and a bag of chips, but it's clouding your judgement. How can you be ok with replacing a federal petty misdemeanor with skyrocketing federal felonies? Makes no sense whatsoever.

Yeah, I am really confused now. It looks like RTS's facts support acemona's initial statement

that Obama's administration is deporting way more people than Bush ever did.

Seeing as how that is all he said(that one sentence above in quotes) it does look like you guys are falling all over RTS when his facts reflect that one single sentence that acemona posted.

Obamas "increase" in border security is meaningless when they are ordered to observe but not intervene... The deported have no fear of re-entry..

Your post states that those have gone up as well. Up to 37,100 more than 1200 from last year.

And then there is this from your post:

If the trend continues, the Obama administration will have prosecuted more illegal immigrants for illegal re-entry in his first term than George W. Bush’s administration did in his two terms combined.

Right. This should make it clear to you that more are re-entering. Not a good thing.

Exactly. :thumb:

But he ignored the fact that more are re-entering. That's a felony.

I get that part. I was speaking in regards to his initial post. His initial post is indeed factual and proven by your post. Your post addresses the re-entry part and that's fine but ace wasn't speaking on that part.

Right. This should make it clear to you that more are re-entering. Not a good thing.

In all reality what it tells me is that more are getting caught and sent back and then coming back again. It tells me we are catching the same people over and over again. Illegal entry is less because those that are coming in have already been deported at least once and keep coming back. Our borders will never truly be secure regardless of the president but since we have repeat felons re-entering the country over and over again Obama is going to have a better looking stat record than Bush. That is how I see it anyways.

Other than killing them on the way into the country illegally this trend will continue. The next president will have more illegal re-entries than Obama.

Wrong, as usual..
In my head I hear John McLaughlin's voice saying that!

Depends on if the reason we're catching more is because more overall are coming into the country illegally than in the past. Even at that, it does us zero good to catch them if they just keep coming back. Deportation should not have a revolving door, his administration needs to do better.

There has to be a better way than killing them. I feel the government isn't working hard enough on a solution.

Here is the thing that I find absurd about the guitar wood. Why is US Fish and Wildlife raiding Gibson? Why didn't US Customs declare the wood illegal upon entry into the country? Is this a left hand / right hand thing? To me, this is another of example of government waist and mismanagement.

Could be. I think execution is the only solution personally. I don't think any administration will ever be able to successfully tackle the problem otherwise. As long as the illegals have the 'if you don't succeed at first...try...try again' attitude they will keep on coming back. Sure it may be inhumane but how else can we seriously tackle the issue other than 1.) executing them or 2.) put them in prison for life...which taxpayers would still pay for.
