I agree I dont think the field is that bad BUT not having some kind of a restroom and the most important thing NOT having access for an emergency vehicle to get down is the worst thing. That needs to be addressed for sure !!!!

A good Title IX attorney could fix that especially with not being able to get an ambulance down the hill last year. There is no good excuse for that incident.

There is no sense in talking about Title IX on here. The school had a meeting today and are getting a plan together to fix the problem. Don't see the field getting it all fix right now for this year but will see it in the future. There are so many problems in the district that people just don't know were to start.

Have you ever posted something and then thought , "I don't want to take the chance of suspension" and go back and delete it?

I don't think this is a Title IX issue, is it? Doesn't the varsity team and the junior football league have the same issues as far as having restroom facilities and access for an ambulance to get down the hill? Just asking but it definitely needs to be fixed for anyone that uses the field.

If I read this thread right you and littleluck55 were the first to bring up HHS so I am not sure why you made this comment.

I only brought up Highlands in response to espn and more girls going out for softball. I only have experience with Highlands so from what I was seeing, more girls are going out. I believe it was ABC2 who said they had a terrible field.

Joe Stevenson (sp) is the new coach. I know nothing about his experience but NDA's AD said they had 10 highly qualified applicants.

I have never seen a fastpitch softball thread get so much attention as this one. I have no idea who Joe Stevenson is.....anybody with details?
