Boone is fresh off of a 28 to 6 win over Southwestern and Conner opens with Boone next week. This use to be a huge game in Boone County before the days of Ryle (and now Cooper).

Conner. Their passing offense will once again be too much for Boone.

Sounds like Boone has a passing game now to. Their QB passed for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns in their first game.

Geez, this early in the season, this one is a pick'em. Picked Conner just to get on Mr. O's nerves, but I'm teetering on the brink.

I have seen Conner twice now and the Conner passing game has not shown me much. I am sure they will improve throughout the season with the young QB. But I haven't seen any receivers (Fogle, Mulderink??? MIA IMO) running around wide open either. The two things that have looked the best for Conner offensively are the QB running the ball and they have one back that looks quick who they should use more than they have in the pre season.

Beechwood handled Conner with relative ease in a scrimmage 2 weeks ago. Unless Beechwood is that good Conner might struggle some in this game.

Anyone have the poll results from this game last season? If I remember correctly, the poll results were similar to this year. What happened in that game last season? Interesting.............

Polls don't mean much anyway but these are different teams from last year. There is a lot of unknown this early in the season for both teams.

I think Boone wins this one. I think the difference will be the game experience Boone received by playing their first game last week (this will be Conner's first game). Conner is still young and inexperienced and I think they will improve all season long, but believe they will make some mistakes in this one that will hurt them.
