Wow 94 people voted for Beechwood and no response to what kind of offense they run.

I picked Beechwood in the poll but will be pulling for Simon Kenton (just to read UK#1 fan's post game posts). UK#1 fan takes on all comers.

It is just that hard to explain it. Very complex. Multiple formations. Motion everywhere. It is amazing high school kids can execute it.

This week, of course, there probably won't be an answer for the overwhelming "D" they will face!

I voted for SK simply to make the numbers skewed. I'll be rooting for them just for the post game banter.

With this poll's thread being so lopsided, is Beechwood getting into a lose/lose situation in the court of public opinion?

 

If Beechwood loses, obviously everyone will scream over rated. Would it be fair for a 1A school losing to a very good 6A school to be called over rated?

 

If Beechwood wins a close game, will people still say over rated or surprised by the score? Does Beechwood get any credit if they win a close game over SK or is everyone going to say SK is over rated or will they say, "as expected", and not give well earned credit to Beechwood for beating a top 6A team?

 

If Beechwood wins handily, is everyone going to go "ho hum", that is what I thought would happen? (as the poll seems to indicate)

Has there ever been a poll this lop-sided that actually turned out to be wrong? I have often notice the BGPers are fairly

VOR, I think as long as BW isn't blown out in this game it's a win win situation for them. Win by 1 or 20 and the small school beat a large school. Lose, but keep it close(within a TD) then they still win because 1A schools aren't expected to compete with the larger 6A schools.

:confused: It's Beechwood, not a typical 1A school, they always expect to win except for when they play a couple of certain opponets

If Beechwood wins they should be given plenty of credit. From the premise behind the 6 class decision making a 1A school should not be able to compete with a 6A school. However facts will say that that thinking is flawed. On the flip side, a 6A program that thinks it's one of the better 6A programs in the state should not lose to a 1A. Even Beechwood.
