I am wondering (I won't have a problem at all parking) but I was wondering where Gamble excepts to park all the fans who he is selling tickets to these games for. It's tough enough to find a "legal" parking spot at Dixie for a CovCath vs. Dixie game but then add in the mix of SK and Beechwood.

 

Where do the Bwood and SK fans park at who arrive at say 7:30pm? :idunno: Traffic will be a mess around Dudley and the CovCath Highway!

Just curious, what has SK done to be known as a power house? All of the players that made them the last couple years are gone. Highlands is a power house, Trinity is a power house, St. X is a power house, SK No. Give me something to change my mind. JMO

Whoa ... the poll results on this game are a little crazy. Beechwood is 1A. SK is 6A ... and a very solid 6A program over the past few years. I am not saying Beechwood won't win. But I never expected the poll to get that lopsided. Maybe everyone feels that way or maybe everyone says no way they will vote for our favorite BGP poster's boys. Still, don't the poll numbers surprise you? I would be interested in hearing more about why everyone thinks Beechwood is such a clear cut winner in this poll.

 

To answer my own question, I would have to say the high expectations for Beechwood are driving a lot of it, SK's underwhelming win in their first game is driving some of it and the "poster factor" is a little bit of it.

 

I expect a tough battle and the question is whether the Beechwood boys will be able to hang tough for four quarters versus the size and numbers SK will put against them.

And here I was going to make a bet with #1, if SK wins I'll put an SK avatar up for a month, but if Beechwood wins he has to put up a Highlands avatar. lol. Kinda like Guru's better though.

I guess I missed the deal go down. I believe it would hurt him more if he had to put up a Ryle Raider avatar, or better yet a Beechwood Tiger avatar.

The game isn't scheduled to start until 8:30. And if you're a Beechwood or SK fan, you best get there at 5:30 if you want a decent parking spot or a seat.

It will be a great game between a traditionally strong program in SK and a small school program that plays much bigger. Saw Beechwood this past Friday against a very large Goshen, OH team. They played an actual game for 3 qtrs. with 12 min stop time. It was 55-7 Beechwood when the 3rd quarter was over. Cameron Vocke ran wild again. Beechwood has some size but what impressed me was their speed. It came from everywhere. Their kicker is tremendous as well. Every kick was deep into the end zone. Can't wait until Friday!

I picked Beechwood because they are a consistent winner every year with several state championships to back up that claim. You cannot convince me that SK's recent run of winning seasons is anything more than a fluke.
