The Offical Fire Dusty Thread (Month 2)

Or if plays for a big inning it's 9-3, and it's LeCure mop up time.

That's likely. I mean, it's not like they scored 2-3 that inning and he cost them an additional out. No one else got a hit.

Stubbs has the green light. He gets thrown out, not on Dusty.

I don't see what's wrong with it. You're not behind where you have to play for a big inning.

You guys are unreal. At that point in the game they aren't going to IBB Votto so you give him a legit RBI chance early in the game. Since when is that a bad thing?

And before you say steal him, if thrown out you would've complained that Votto could've knocked him in from 1B.

It's not Cueto vs. Lee or Halliday. It's just stupid baseball with the two pitchers going tonight.

Since when? I clearly remember in the 1st thread people complaining about him stealing Stubbs in front of Votto, which would've or did lead to an IBB of Votto. Now he has a green light? If I remember correctly, Dusty even admitted to giving the steal sign and everyone bashed him for it.

Spindoc, that explains everything. :lol::lol:

So, we roll into Houston after sweeping the Giants, playing a "AA" team with the worst record in baseball, and you're cool with sac bunt after a leadoff single in the first?

Come on man.

Right, with the huge offensive output in the last 7 innings.

Who cares anyway? The Central division is a heated race to see who can get swept by the Phillies!

What? That they still haven't exploded even after Dusty's major blunder in the 1st inning?

I'll never fault a manager for trying to get a runner in scoring position for their 2 best hitters, as long as they're not down by 3 or more.

Who knows what might have happened if he doesn't give up an out in the 1st.

Inside joke with Spindoc. I'm surprised he hasn't picked up on it yet.

Somehow, I doubt you would have done that. Hit and run maybe, donating an out that early is silly.

Now this late in the game, no doubt the game dictates otherwise.

I got it and thought about reporting your post.

I'm done. You guys can play your little games with someone else. I'll sit back and watch a guy that actually knows what he's doing. I hope you both suffer through another 10 seasons of Dusty not knowing what he's doing while leading the Reds to the playoffs. Enjoy.
