I can agree with that IMO too but I think Casey Co is better than at least 4 other teams on the Raiders schedule so the Raiders going 5-5 and a trip back to the playoffs will be a successful season and a step in the right direction for the program. But just beating Casey Co only would be just demoralizing for the program and besides that it wouldn't make much since with the schedule this year. JMO! I personally think the RaIders will be 6-4 and return to the playoffs but I still think there are 8 winnable games on their schedule. Go get'em Raiders!

I'm kinda with the Banker on this one. I think they will win 2 games. A 35-0 shutout to Russell County is not a good start and this was in a scrimmage. The defense is very questionable so I'm going with 2 big wins for the Raiders.

It's a do-able schedule. It will be up to MCC to step up and take care of business.

Really, Taylor won one game last year and I don't think Knott won any both I think are very winnable games, matter a fact I think they are should win games. Also McCreay has split with Pineville the last 2 years which makes it a winnable game IMO. I also think they match up well with Casey Co Which gives them a shot to make the playoffs. Wayne and North Laurel are much tougher but depending on how things go are possibles. My prediction is at least a 5-5 season and a trip to the playoffs!

I agree no reason not to win 5 Games with the possibility to win between 6 to 8 games and a trip to the Play-Offs. Anything less than a 5 game win season and it is not a good year. IMO

Leslie Co. has everyone back from last year. Leslie will be better than Jackson, Knott, Taylor and Pineville. This being said McCreary should win 5 games minimum.

Leslie was 4-8 last year, so you might get that one. Knott did not win last year so I will give you that one. Key to Leslie is this, no matter how many you have back, if they are bad players from last year coming back, then they are still bad, does not matter if they are back or not. Same with Knott. Do they have everyone back? Probably not, so lets say they are better. Cant be worse, they never won. Pineville wore you out last year 43-6 playing the second string most of second half, so you cant win that one, as they still have most back. Jackson didnt win last year, and might not this year. Casey will beat you by 2 touchdowns. Taylor is a toss up, but you have no defense. Its about a non existant as a 4th quarter in region coaching job by Robert Jones, so I think Taylor beats you by 10. The rest you dont have a shot at. 0 wins in district equals what I have been saying.

No what you been saying is MC want win but 2 games. Now you are up to 3 games. Pineville had 13 Sr.'s and yes they did wear MC out last year. They will not be as good as last year. MC beat Leslie at Leslie last year. What does Rob Jones have to do with MC Football other than he Hates it ???????

Somerset has the tradition to size up a schedule and say "This schedule is weak" like their schedule the last two years or "This schedule is hard" like thier schedule is this year.

 

McCreary has to look at every schedule they put together as tough. They are not in position to look at anyone on their schedule and say "automatic win." They gotta play every play of every quarter of every game to win.

They have to earn that right over the long haul. They were heading in the right direction. They need to keep heading there. The 2009 7-3 team should not be seen as the pinnacle of Raider football. It should be seen as a tremendous step in the right direction.

I agree we are not in a position to look at schedule and say anyone is a definate win, but we can look at the compition and speculate on what can be. The 2009 Team was a great step in the right direction and need to be expanded on. I don't think we ever need to be satisfied with our accomplishments but need to want more. I want MC to have a winning season and go back to the play-offs. One must agree the 2009 team to this point in time has been the pinnacle of McCreary Football. Dosn't have to stay that way. Hope it dosn't. Go Raiders!!!!!!!
