I am a die hard colonel but I do pull for my next door neighbors in Sterns. I really do hope they can keep going in the right direction. They have been much improved the last four to five years. Hopefully last year was just a bump in the road. Good Luck Raider Nation.

McCreary had first passing Scrimmage last night at Oneida Tenn. 4 Teams present. Oneida, York and Oliver Spring and McCreary Central. I did not get to Attend. An Assistant Coach told me they more than held their own. This is good considering 3 of McCreary's best Alth. were on vacation. Could be a good year.

At Union College today McCreary Central played quite well. Still had Williams , Duncan and Dople on Vacation. These are 3 of McCreary's best. Beat Pineville 20-7 Lost to Lynn Camp 10-3 Beat Boyle 27-20 Lost to Rock 27-17 in OT. Not bad for the Raiders.

HOP and I will do our very best to see Rock play this year. We go to Scott High in Tenn. Thursday night, Tyson , Arilis and Noah will be back. Looking fwd to seeing how we look with them on field.

Getting the confidence up during 7-7 tournaments is a great start to the season for MC. I am very excited for the season and I am anticipating a very successfull season and the kids that play for MC are very deserving. I aggree with cellking that the 1st 3 games are very important to MC and the 1st one being Taylor then Pineville then Knott Co. These three are must wins if MC is going to make a run at the 3rd spot of the district (or higher). I personally think they have worked hard and has what it takes to win 8 games this year but I will say it definalely should be a 6 win season and a trip back to the playoffs!

McCreary should start having some things to build on. I've learned Aaron Anderson is helping with some of the younger grades now, that should help them learn some valuable fundamentals from someone with a lot of experience at an earlier age. That can only pay off in the long haul.

Aaron helping with the young kids will be a help. McCreary needs some comittment from the top Administrators in the System. I watched the Coaches having to mow the grass on field while trying to have practice. We need help!!!

It wasn't bad when posted, it was cancled later. Wish they could have played.

7 on 7 at SouthWestern. Again McCreary played pretty well .Lost to Middlesboro 27-19, Drilled E'town's B Team, Beat Southwestern 26-16 Led Wayne 18-12 with 1:30 left couldn't hold on got beat 21-18. So a pretty good day. Looking FWD to the season. Go Raiders!!!!!

These are my predicitions for the district race. I think McCreary can win 4 games this year, but they must be consistant with the easy game and not have a let down early.
