Current Morehead baseball player and former Boyle county hurler Garrick Whittle has been diagnosed with cancer. Started with a lump on his back. His family has been sharing this info on facebook so I am confident they would not mind me sharing with the baseball community. From what i have heard, Blake is okay, not a concussion just couldn't breath. Had some pain breathing but other than that, he seemed good. Brings a sigh of relief to me.

What is the QB situation at Boyle? Who starts Friday night and will it have any effect on the game?

I agree with you, the talent level is down somewhat with this class. I am afraid that there may be some hard times coming for Boyle within the next few years. This year's junior and sophomore class has some pretty good talent, after that it dwindles.
